We feel that with our experience, training and drive we can deliver a great product at a good price. Starting a winery and label is prohibitively expensive. We don’t have any rich relatives and have so far failed to find an angel investor. Sure people have been willing to put money in but then they want >50% of the business, even if we pay the money back with interest. For us, this doesn’t work any better than just a plain job. We are still doing all the work with maybe a slighter better paycheck but in the end we want to control our business.

Ye. We do not have the collateral necessary to secure a traditional loan. Also the wine industry is very expensive to start and needs cash flow to sustain which are problematic in a traditionally structured loan.

Under an investor scenario we give up control AND they want interest on the principle. Which is worse for us than just a traditional loan by itself.

Nothing. We are making no promise of future benefit for a gift today. We will be asking for an email address and should you wish to follow us, please submit your email. This way as we proceed with launch and transition away from this FUNDRAISING site to Phase 2, WINE IN THE BOTTLE site, we can stay in touch with our friends who helped us Fund Our Dream!

Once our Launch Fundraising is achieved and we can put wine in the bottle,  there is a possibility of Patron discounts and special events.  

Through fundraising on this site we cut out the fees paid to a traditional fundraising site. We also have future plans for this site and concept, (Phases 1,2, and 3) when we are fully funded and running but that’s a topic for another time. 

ANYONE IS WELCOME TO donate to Fund This Dream!. We welcome donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses.

Having worked together in industry and this independent project, we have developed a great team dynamic with complimentary skills. We have a clear, unified style vision and mutual respect to work together.

We have certain financial milestones laid for each steps including: licensing and business administration, brand design, packaging acquisition and inventory acquisition and launch, shipping out to our Distributor.  

Technically not a question but I get it. It’s a long shot but if you don’t ask you never get. All I am really asking is to take a chance on us. What’s the harm in throwing a few bucks our way?  $5, $10, $20…., a burrito, a beer, a movie ticket, a You-know-what-SBucks, whatever - any humble amount will help us achieve our goal. Plus you get the added pride of saying that you helped fund a business!  Stay tuned for progress updates. Granted some of it will be me just rambling on but who knows, maybe you will find some entertainment in our escapades.  That’s worth a few bucks isnt it?
